I have been drawn to creative endeavors in many forms since I was a child, enticed by the lure of colors. Growing up on and near lakes and woods in northern Michigan created a strong affinity for nature, especially vineyards, orchards, and lakesides. My art is a journey that gives humble voice to my gratitude for the Creator's magnificant gifts. I have been a member of the Mooresville, NC Artists Guild, and am currently a member of the Northwesterm Michigan Artists Group and the Statesboro Regional Art Association.

I have studied with Charles Murphy, Carolyn Scott Risk, and Kathleen Tomasek, all Traverse City, Michigan artists; Jane Bradley Swanson, artist from Maui and Arizona; Sylvia Spong, and Cathy Sigmon, North Carolina artists; and currently study with Katie Garner, Waynesboro, Georgia. I also continue individual study both with instructional books and workshops.
